Kurino Mei, with Manabu Sakai on board, won Sunday's G2 Tulip Sho at Hanshin Racecourse. Water Gerbera finished second, a nose behind the winner, and Vip Daisy came home in third, a half length behind Water Garbera. The winning time was 1:34.0.

Kurino Mei is a daughter of Orfevre out of Kurino Elizabeth, by Precise End. This is her first graded stakes title after an attempt in the G1 Hanshin Juvenile Fillies last year. The top three runners all earned a spot in the G1 Oka Sho.
