Alankar has quickly shown promise as a rising filly in her generation. She debuted in July 2025 with a dominant win in a 1800m maiden at Fukushima, overcoming a slow start to surge through and win by a comfortable margin.
In the 2025 season she maintained upward momentum, and in September she claimed victory in the Nojigiku Stakes over 1600m at Hanshin, marking her second straight win and confirming her potential among her peers. With a record of two wins from two starts, she has drawn attention as a filly to watch — especially given her pedigree and smooth racing style.
Arbanne has begun her career with the poise and ability of a filly destined for higher levels. She made her debut at Hanshin in June 2025, finishing a promising second despite showing some greenness. She broke her maiden in her next start, a maiden race, and continued her progression with an impressive victory in the Saffron Stakes, displaying sharp acceleration and early maturity.
With two wins from three starts and a strong pedigree—by Admire Mars out of Petite Folie—she is widely regarded as a rising talent as she steps up in class.
Star Anise has shown promise early in her career and is shaping up as a filly to watch. She made her debut at Kokura in June 2025 but finished fifth and was unable to win first-out. The following month, she returned to the same course and captured her maiden victory with a sharp performance in a 1200m race.
In August, she stepped up to stakes company in the newly upgraded Chukyo Nisai Stakes, where she ran an encouraging second. With steady progression and a strong foundation from her early races, she is regarded as a filly with the potential to continue improving as she moves up in class.
The Hanshin Juvenile Fillies is a horse racing competition conducted by the Japan Racing Association (JRA) at Hanshin Racecourse. It holds an international G1 designation and is known as the '2-Year-Old Filly Queen Determination Race.' This race is exclusively for 2-year-old fillies, serving as a decisive championship for young female horses.
The race starts from a pocket extended from the second corner on the backstretch, with a 712-meter run to the third corner (on the A Course). There is a 4.3-meter uphill climb leading to the third corner, followed by a steep downhill run into the fourth corner. Though the corners are more gradual compared to the inner course, the slope is sharp. The final straight is flat and measures 404 meters (A Course).
