Alluring Act, winner of the 1999 Kokura 3YO Stakes, gave birth to a colt by Stelvio at Sugata Farm in Hokkaido on March 4th, at the age of 27. She has become the oldest mare to foal in the last 10 years.

Alluring Act was born in 1997. She made her debut in August as a juvenile under the care of trainer Akihiko Nomura in Ritto, winning the Shimba and G3 Kokura 3YO Stakes. She was retired after the Ohori Tokubetsu in September 2001 with 15 starts and 2 wins, and became a broodmare at Shiraoi Farm, where her first foal, Alluring Voice, won two graded races including the G3 Kokura 2YO Stakes.

This year's foal is her 16th in total. Both mother and foal are healthy, but it has been announced that Alluring Act will now retire form breeding.
