Jockey Nanako Fujita has been selected to compete in the Shergar Cup, a jockey competition featuring 12 of the world's top riders, to be held on August 10 at Ascot Racecourse, England. The organizers announced this on the 13th.

This will be her second appearance in the event, following her debut in 2019. For the first time, the competition will feature an equal number of male and female jockeys, with six of each. Fujita will be part of the Rest of the World team, captained by Rachel King, and will compete alongside Rachel Venniker as they aim for victory.
