Alice Verite with Manami Nagashima won the G3 Marmaid Stakes at Kyoto Racecourse. Sent-off favourite, Edel Blume finished second, two lengths behind the winner, and Wholeness came home in third a neck behind Edel Blume. The winning time was 1:57.2.

Alice Verite is the daughter of Kizuna out of Lumiere Verite, by Cozzene. This is the first graded stakes title for both Alice Verite and Manami Nagashima. Winning jockey Nagashima became the third female jockey to win a graded stakes under JRA rules.
