It was almost expected at this point. On the 13th, Tenno Sho (Autumn) champion Do Deuce, with jockey Yutaka Take in the saddle, breezed in a three-horse work on the woodchip track at Ritto Training Center. Settled behind a stablemate early on, he steadily closed the gap through the third and fourth turns, then shifted inside on the stretch. With his signature high-knee and powerful stride, he accelerated, easily surging past G2 Kyoto Shimbun Hai winner Satono Glanz and G3 Tanabata Sho winner Red Radiance.

The clocked times were 6F in 80.9 seconds, 35.7 for the last three furlongs and a blistering 10.9 for the final furlong. Take jokingly remarked, "I might get pulled over for speeding," adding, "He's in great shape as usual. No issues at all."

Trainer Yasuo Tomomichi also expressed his confidence, noting, "Last fall, he improved with each race, but this year he was already in top form coming off the Tenno Sho. He's even fresher than before that last start." With just two races left to close out his career, Do Deuce appears well-prepared for a grand finale.
