Sent-off favourite Eri King with Yuga Kawada on board won the G3 Kyoto Nisai Stakes at Kyoto Racecourse. Giovanni finished the second one and a quarter lengths behind the winner and Claudiai came home in third a length behind Giovanni. The winning time was 2:00.9.

Eri King is a son of Kizuna out of Youngstar by High Chaparral. He remained unbeaten with three straight wins and won his first graded stakes title.
