On 11th April an update was provided by the JRA on the Australian G1 runner Ho O Amazon, relaying information from connections as he prepares for the race in the quarantine facility in Sydney, Australia. Ho O Amazon is due to run in the All Aged Stakes, over 1400m on turf, at Randwick Racecourse on Saturday, 15th April. Details of the update are as follows:
Training condition: Yukihiro Araki, the assistant trainer, rode Ho O Amazon in a Canterbury Racecourse workout on the turf course. He travelled over 1000m with ease.
Comment from Araki: "He came round the bend smoothly, and his breathing and recovery after the workout were good. I think he can go to the race without any problems."
