Brian Sense with Mirai Iwata on board won the G3 March Stakes at Nakayama Racecourse. Matenro Sky finished second, a neck behind the winner, and pre-race favourite Lord Couronne came home in third, a neck behind Matenro Sky. The winning time was 1:51.5.

Brian Sence is a son of Hokko Tarumae out of Hiraboku Bijin, by Brian's Time. This is his first graded stakes title and the first JRA graded stakes title for his sire Hokko Tarumae.
