Marga (Filly, 2yo, by Maurice out of Buchiko), the half-sister of three-time G1 winner Sodashi, has arrived at Hakodate Racecourse in preparation for her debut in the July 12 Race 5 Newcomers (1800 meters, turf).

Her body weight measured 466 kilograms upon arrival. For reference, Sodashi weighed 472 kilograms when she made her debut at the same Hakodate venue. Groom Kitamura commented, "She really reminds me of Sodashi. You could say they're nearly identical. She's already well put together at this point, but the key will be how much she can grow from here. Sodashi developed even more after her debut. I actually think this filly has a stronger personality than her older sister."
