Unraced Fleuraison entered for the Grade 3 Niigata Nisai Stakes

Unraced juvenile filly, Fleuraison, trained by Manabu Ikezoe, has been registered for the Grade 3 Niigata Nisai Stakes, scheduled for August 27th.
Fleuraison is by Orfevre and out of Timber Country mare Kaikayoso. Her dam won six local stakes races. Kaikano Kiseki who finished 2nd in the 2021 Grade 3 Hakodate Nisai Stakes, is her half-sister.
In the past, there have been few instances of unraced horses being registered for graded stakes races. Notable examples include Heavy Tank, who caused a stir by challenging the 2018 Grade 2 Yayoi Sho. From Dusk, was registered for the 2022 Grade 3 Kokura Nisai Stakes. The latter, after the G3 registration, ran in a maiden race and won impressively.
