18th of September, The Silk Horse Club announced that their equine star, Equinox, will start in the G1 Tenno Sho (Autumn) 2,000m turf on 29th of October. The four-year-old colt has been having a spell since capturing his four consecutive G1 race in the Takarazuka Kinen in June.

He has been stabled at Northern Farm Ten-ei in Fukushima and has reportedly trained well. Connections have planned to participate in the G1 Tenno Sho (Autumn) with an eye on the G1 Japan Cup 2,400m turf on November 26th.

Additionally, Do Deuce, winner of the Japanese Derby in 2022, is also being targeted at the Tenno Sho. Equinox had to settle for the runners-up spot when the pair last met in the 2022 Tokyo Yushun.
