Cervinia with Christophe Lemaire showed off her potential in the G3 Artemis Stakes with a comfortable, one-and-three-quarter-length victory on Saturday. Safira finished second and Steelblue came home in third. The winning time was 1:33.6.

Winning jockey Lemaire commented, "I stayed inside and when I brought her to the outside in the homestretch, she ran like a different horse. I was confident after since she won the last race in such a strong style. This is her only third race and she will get better and better. I think she can go to a fillies' G1."
