JRA's history making jockey Yutaka Take will make his return in the G1 Asahi Hai Futurity Stakes after a month-and-a-half break following an injury. He will ride Ecoro Walz, an unbeaten Open-class Cosmos Sho winner.

He commented on his injury, saying: "It took much longer time than I thought. I felt I was ready to ride in a race yesterday and today's ride confirmed that my body is finally ready." On missing the G1 Tenno Sho (Autumn) with Do Deuce, he added, "This time of the year is very important and I did everything possible to bring my body to 100%. There was never a day I did nothing."

On Ecoro Walz, he offered an update: "It was a good work. He has got good potential and uses his body well. I hope I can win this race to pay back to all the fans who supported me through recovery."
