Noble Roger ran out a comprehensive winner in the G3 Shinzan Kinen with Yuga Kawada on board to remain unbeaten. Ecoro Bloom finished second and Water Licht came home in third.

Winning jockey Kawada commented "This race showed his potential. I knew the condition of the turf was not good on the rail so I chose to position him a bit wide. I hope to carry on this momentum throughout this year without injuries."

Trainer Tatsuya Yoshioka added "He has great speed and stamina as you saw in the last few furlongs. I am glad he has won a first graded stakes. He is very similar to his sire Palace Malice. Very easy to deal with and energy efficient during the race. I am looking forward to exploring what he has got."
