Pradaria impressed Kenichi Ikezoe on Sunday, winning his third graded stakes in the G2 Kyoto Kinen having taken the G2 Kyoto Daishoten last October. Bellagio Opera made a late challenge but finished second and Babbitt came home in third.

Winning jockey Ikezoe commented: "I heard the sound of Bellagio Opera from the back inside the final furlong but he stayed very well. He was resilient and made a great comeback from the 14th finish in the G1 Arima Kinen. I think we can rechallenge G1."
