Trainer Hidenori Take announced on the 20th that six-time graded stakes winner Meikei Yell will retire after she runs in the G1 Takamatsunomiya Kinen.

She finished 10th in the G3 Kyoto Himba Stakes last time out. Trainer Take commented: "This decision was made after a discussion with the owners. I will do my best for her final run."
