G1 Dubai World Cup winner Ushba Tesoro conducted his final fast trackwork ahead of the G1 Saudi Cup with Yuga Kawada on board at King Abdulaziz Racecourse in Saudi Arabia.

Trainer Noboru Takagi commented: "He is in his usual condition. He has matured after the trip to Dubai last year and he is both mentally and physically stronger now. He is comfortable here."

Booked jockey Kawada added: "He responded well to my command and the surface has changed from the last year. Horses need more power now." On the field of the Saudi Cup, he added: "There are a number of horses from the US and many horses will want to go up front. We are not thinking of sticking to the pacers."
