Trainer Inao Okada announced that Meisho Hario, who was withdrawn from the G1 Saudi Cup, will miss the G1 Dubai World Cup and head back to Japan for recovery.

Trainer Okada commented: "He was a bit lame before the Saudi Cup and I did not want to take a risk so we shifted our focus to the Dubai World Cup. Unfortunately, the organizers of the Dubai World Cup Day informed us that a horse who was withdrawn on Saudi Cup Day cannot run on the Dubai World Cup Day which resulted in Meisho Hario not being able to run in the Dubai World Cup. He will travel back to Japan and we will start thinking about his plans."
