Victor The Winner conducted his first track work with Ka Chun Leung at Chukyo Racecourse on Tuesday, ahead of his run in the G1 Takamatsunomiya Kinen. He clocked 11.2 seconds for the final furlong and showed off his readiness to the onlooking press.

Leung reflected: "He was looking around and was not focused at the beginning but he accelerated amazingly in the final 200m." Trainer C. S. Shum added "I had to be at the races on Wednesday so we decided to work him on Tuesday. His movements were amazing. He also works well with left-hand turns and that should not be a problem for him," he answered confidently.
