Mad Cool with Ryusei Sakai on board won the G1 Takamatsunomiya Kinen at Chukyo Racecourse. Victor the Winner from Hong Kong led the pack of horses to the homestretch and Mad Cool took over the race holding off a late challenge made by Namura Clair. This is Mad Cool's first graded stakes title and the first G1 title.

Winning jockey Sakai reflected "Everything went as we planned. I was confident that Mad Cool would stay enough to win this race but Namura Clair's sprint at the end was scary."
