Light Warrior, with Hiroto Yoshihara on board, won the JpnI Kawasaki Kinen at NAR Kawasaki Racecourse. Grand Bridge made a late challenge but finished second, a head behind the winner, and Icon Tailor came home in third, a nose behind Grand Bridge. The winning time was 2:15.5.

Light Warrior is a son of Majestic Warrior out of Spectrolite, by Deep Impact. This is his fourth graded stakes title and the first JpnI title against JRA runners.
