It was revealed on the 4th that jockey Take Yutaka had fallen victim to a burglary at his residence in Sakyo-ku, Kyoto City. The Kyoto Prefectural Police made this information public. In addition to tote bags, a total of 22 items valued at 750,000 JPY were reported stolen. It is also suspected that high-end watches, precious metals, and cash were taken. The prefectural police are investigating the incident as a theft and are examining the details of the situation.

According to the prefectural police, the incident occurred between 11:00 p.m. on March 23rd and around 5:00 a.m. on March 24th. Family members at home noticed a noise and called the emergency number. The windows of the residence were found broken, and the prefectural police suspect the possibility of multiple individuals involved based on footage from nearby security cameras. At the time, Take was staying at the Chukyo Racecourse for the G1 Takamatsunomiya Kinen on the 24th.

Take updated his official website on the same day, stating, "In the early hours of March 24th, there was a break-in by multiple individuals at my home, resulting in theft. Thankfully, my family members who were at home are safe." He continued, "Currently, the police are conducting a thorough investigation and while I cannot disclose further details, the emotional shock to my family is greater than the material loss. Naturally, I am also deeply shocked." Take expressed his heartfelt emotions regarding the incident.
