The JRA Hall of Fame was introduced as a part of the Japanese Racing Association’s 30th Anniversary Project (1984) to remember and celebrate the legacy of historic Japanese racehorses. To date, there have been 38 horses inducted in to the JRA Hall of Fame.

Equinox was the 38th, most recent addition to the revered collection of names.
