The JRA Hall of Fame was introduced as a part of the Japanese Racing Association’s 30th Anniversary Project (1984) to remember and celebrate the legacy of historic Japanese racehorses. To date, there have been 39 horses inducted in to the JRA Hall of Fame.

Oju Chosan was the 39th, most recent addition to the revered collection of names.
