The JRA Hall of Fame was introduced as a part of the Japanese Racing Association’s 30th Anniversary Project (1984) to remember and celebrate the legacy of historic Japanese racehorses. To date, there have been 37 horses inducted in to the JRA Hall of Fame.
Contrail was the 36th and King Kamehameha was the 37th, most recent addition to the revered collection of names.
