Champions Cup race overview

The Champions Cup is a horse racing competition conducted by the Japan Racing Association (JRA). It is classified as an international G1 race. The race takes place on the Chukyo Dirt course, covering a distance of 1800 meters. Thoroughbreds aged three and above are eligible to participate, and starting from the year 2020, the winner of the race is granted a preferential entry right to the Saudi Cup.

Chukyo 1800m dirt course: One lap starting from the middle left of the home straight. Home straight is 410.7m with an incline. Stamina is tested.
