Realize Sirius

Realize Sirius has quickly established himself as one of the top juveniles of his generation. He made his debut in June 2025 at Tokyo, winning his maiden over 1600m with a convincing performance. In August, he stepped up to stakes company and captured the G3 Niigata Nisai Stakes, claiming his first graded stakes victory despite traffic issues at the start.

His early success, combined with a pedigree by Poetic Flare out of a dam by Stay Gold, marks him as one of 2025’s brightest prospects — both for the remainder of his 2-year-old season and beyond.

Admire Quads

Admire Quads has made an immediate impression as one of the standout two-year-olds of his generation. He debuted in October 2025 at Tokyo, winning his maiden over 1600m with a decisive late surge. In November, he took a significant step forward by capturing the G2 Daily Hai Nisai Stakes, matching the course record for two-year-olds in the process.

Ecoro Alba

In October, he stepped into graded company and secured his first stakes victory in the G3 Saudi Arabia Royal Cup, producing a powerful closing run to claim the win. With two wins from two starts, Ecoro Alba remains undefeated and is widely regarded as a rising star with notable speed and turn of foot on turf.

Asahi Hai Futurity Stakes race overview

The Asahi Hai Futurity Stakes is a horse racing event held at the Hanshin Racecourse by the Japan Racing Association (JRA). It is a graded international G1 race with participation limited to 2-year-old colts and fillies, and geldings are not eligible to compete.

Established in 1949, the Asahi Hai Futurity Stakes initially served as the championship race for the former 3-year-olds (now 2-year-olds) in the Kanto region and took place at the Nakayama Racecourse. At that time, the race was known as the "Asahi Hai 3-Year-Old Stakes." Until 2013, it was held at the Nakayama Racecourse, and from 2014 onwards, the event has been hosted at the Hanshin Racecourse.

Racecourse Feature

The race starts from a pocket extended from the second corner on the backstretch, with a 712-meter run to the third corner (on the A Course). There is a 4.3-meter uphill climb leading to the third corner, followed by a steep downhill run into the fourth corner. Though the corners are more gradual compared to the inner course, the slope is sharp. The final straight is flat and measures 404 meters (A Course).
