Tadhg O'Shea arrives in Japan under short-term license

Irish-born jockey Tadhg O'Shea, who arrived in Japan on a short-term license, participated in his first training session at the Miho Training Center on the 24th.

The renowned jockey, based in the UAE, rode horses like Best Me Ever in the Sweetpea Stakes. "Everything was well-organized, and it went smoothly. The surroundings are beautiful, including the cityscape. I'm impressed and touched," he commented, expressing the immediately positive impact he felt.

A notice from the Japan Racing Association regarding his short-term license read: 'On the 24th, the JRA issued a license to Tadhg O'Shea from Ireland. The period is from May 27th to June 26th. The overseeing trainer is Sakae Kunieda, and the contracting owner is DMM Dream Club.'
