This week's racing preview for JRA and NAR

This week JRA action features racing from Fukushima, Kokura, and Hakodate. There are two graded stakes contests scheduled for this weekend.

The highlight will be the G3 Tanabata Sho at Fukushima Racecourse on Sunday, July 7th. Among the leading contenders are King's Palace, who finished a narrow second by just a nose in the G3 Niigata Daishoten. Red Radiance, enters the race in consistent form and is aiming for his first graded stakes win. Reframing, Listed Fukushima Minpo Hai winner, Reframing, will also be taking their place in the competitive field.

On the same day at Kokura, the G3 Procyon Stakes will take place. Yamanin Ours, enters the race undefeated in four starts, he will undoubtedly be popular among punters. Suleyman, who dominated the Open Class Moji Stakes at the same venue, and Hapi, who finished second in the G3 Heian Stakes, are among the entrants.

On the NAR circuit, the Jpn3 Sparking Lady Cup will be held on Wednesday at Kawasaki Racecourse, July 3rd. Other interesting contenders include Riot Grrrl, a three-time graded stakes winner, and Ater Astraea, who has won two graded stakes races.
