The winning streak shows no signs of stopping. The unbeaten colt Yamanin Ours, who has won all four of his starts, is set to make his much-anticipated graded stakes debut in the G3 Procyon Stakes. In his final workout at the Ritto Training Center hill course, Yamanin Ours was placed behind his half-brother Yamanin al Rihla. He drew level effortlessly, finishing the workout on even terms.

The time clocked was 57.4 seconds for 4 furlongs, with the last furlong in 12.2 seconds. Trainer Takashi Saito was pleased, stating, "The overall time was slower than expected, but he was enthusiastic and finished with ease. I think the preparation has gone well without any issues."

Since his sensational debut, winning by an impressive 4.3 seconds, Yamanin Ours has continued his winning streak with dominant performances, despite spaced-out intervals between races. Trainer Saito reflected, "Even before his debut, he showed great movement and gave us the impression that he was going to be a runner. While it has taken some time, he improves with each race and recovers quickly. He's definitely growing."

A hoof crack caused him to miss the planned G3 Heian Stakes, but Saito reassured, "He's been more straightforward than we anticipated. Since we switched our focus to this race, there have been no issues." Although the competition level rises significantly in this graded stakes race, Saito remains optimistic. "He's honest and straightforward, and he runs races very skilfully. He's a horse that makes you think about the future. We aim to use this race as a stepping stone to reach even greater heights."

With a fifth consecutive victory and a graded stakes win in his sights, Yamanin Ours is poised to soar even higher this autumn.
