Red Radiance with Keita Tosaki won a first graded stakes title in Sunday's G3 Tanabata Sho at Fukushima Racecourse. Sent-off favourite, King's Palace finished second two lengths behind the winner and Nocking Point came home in third, a neck behind King's Palace. The winning time was 1:57.9.

Red Radiance is a son of Deep Impact out of Performada, by Jump Start. With this win, he extended the personal record of 11 consecutive placed finishes starting from his maiden race.
