Backed as the overwhelming favourite at odds of 1.7, Yamanin Ours secured his first graded stakes victory in the G3 Procyon Stakes bringing his undefeated record to five consecutive wins. Third favourite Suleyman finished second, and 12th favourite Mario Road took third place.

The performance was nothing short of stunning. Yamanin Ours broke well and positioned himself in third place with excellent poise around the third and fourth turns. Entering the straight, he surged to the front with ease and extended his lead to finish three lengths ahead of the field, showcasing his impressive strength in his first graded stakes challenge.

Jockey Yutaka Take, who has partnered Yamanin Ours since the colt's second start, commented, "Today, he felt the best he's ever felt." He added, "He hasn't had much experience being crowded or taking kickback, so I thought it was better if he avoided those situations. We got a good position."

Yamanin Ours continues to display immense potential. "This was only his fifth race, and he delivered such a performance in graded stakes. He's getting stronger with each race, and it's incredibly exciting to see how far he can go," remarked the experienced jockey, his voice full of excitement over the colt's remarkable ability.
