Justin Palace, with Christophe Lemaire on board, returned to the winner's circle after a three-month break on Sunday. Justin Palace travelled behind the pacemakers on the rail and drew clear despite having an interrupted run in the home straight. Boldog Hos challenged on the outside and finished one-and-three-quarter lengths behind the winner.

Break Up finished third, a neck behind Boldog Hos, whilst last year's Hanshin Daishoten winner Deep Bond finished fifth.

Justin Palace is a son of Deep Impact out of Palace Rumor, by Royal Anthem. This is his second graded stakes victory, taking his career record to four wins from nine starts.
