Another record for Christophe Lemaire with 11 consecutive races with top two placing

On the 26th, at Tokyo Racecourse in the 4th race, a 3YO Maiden, the favourite Ampadu claimed victory, and jockey Christophe Lemaire set a new Japan Racing Association record by finishing in the top two places for 11 consecutive rides. The previous record of 10 consecutive top-two finishes was also held by Lemaire, achieved in 2016 and 2018.

Lemaire sustained an injury in the G1 Dubai Turf on March 30 but made his comeback on May 5th. On May 19th, he won the G1 Japanese Oaks aboard Cervinia. The details of his 11 consecutive top-two finishes are as follows:
