Mirai Iwata and Arma Veloce won Sunday's G1 Hanshin Juvenile Fillies at Hanshin Racecourse with a dominant display. Vip Daisy finished second, one-and-a-quarter lengths behind the winner, and Teleos La La came home in third, one-and-three-quarter lengths behind Vip Daisy. Sent-off favourite, Brown Ratchet finished a disappointing 16th. The winning time was 1:33.4.

The winner, Arma Veloce, is a filly by Harbinger out of Rakuami, whose sire is Daiwa Major. She made an impressive debut by winning her Newcomers, and in her second start, she finished a close second by a nose against colts in the G3 Sapporo Nisai Stakes. Returning to the track for the first time since then, she showcased her talent on the grand stage to claim victory in the G1 Hanshin Juvenile Fillies, earning the title of Champion Two Year Old Filly. Jockey Mirai Iwata secured his first JRA G1 title with this win, while trainer Hiroyuki Uemura recorded his second G1 victory of the year, following the Osaka Hai with Bellagio Opera.
