Race favourite Promised Warrior, with Katsuma Sameshima on board, won the G3 Antares Stakes at Hanshin Racecourse. The pair positioned themselves upfront and led the race all the way to the finish line. Vanyar made a late challenge but finished a half-length behind the winner.

King's Sword finished third two lengths behind Vanyar.

Promised Warrior is a son of Majestic Warrior out of Promised Spark, by Fuji Kiseki. This is the fifth consecutive victory for Promised Warrior after winning the G2 Tokai Stakes back in January.
