Meisho Tabaru (Colt, 4yo), who finished sixth in the G1 Tenno Sho (Autumn), will head directly to the G1 Arima Kinen (Dec. 28, Nakayama Racecourse). Trainer Mamoru Ishibashi confirmed the plan on the 6th, with Yutaka Take retaining the ride.
"Yutaka said the horse felt great in the preliminaries, and I think he went into the race in good spirits. Even with the slow pace, he settled well," said trainer Ishibashi. "He'll be turned out for about two weeks, and hopefully we can bring him into the Arima Kinen in similar condition." The colt will head to the pasture farm on the 7th.
