Keita Tosaki guided the 2nd favourite Hohelied (Filly, 4yo) to her first graded stakes victory. Sitting in a perfect stalking position in 3rd-4th, she traveled strongly into the straight and produced a decisive surge inside the final 100 meters, holding off the late closers to secure a memorable graded stakes breakthrough for trainer Toshiaki Tajima and jockey Tosaki, the "master-and-apprentice" duo. Her win marked the first filly to capture this race since See Nan Lady in 1986, ending a 39-year drought. The winning time was 3:47.2. Finishing 2nd was the 5th favourite Meiner Campana, with the favourite Chrominance in 3rd.

Tosaki, who took two wins on the card despite last week's post-finish fall in the G1 Japan Cup, showed no trace of the incident and delivered a confident ride. "She really picked up when I asked. She'd been running well with close finishes in graded races, and winning this as a filly shows just how wonderful she is," he praised.
