Maurice's offspring Kalpa, is scheduled to debut on the turf over 1800m at Hakodate on the 9th. The two-year-old colt catches the eye with his beautiful white coat, just like his sister Sodashi, three-time Group 1 winner. Despite being compact in size, weighing around 420kg, Kalpa possesses high-level ability and exhibits a powerful stride.

During a workout on the Hakodate turf, ridden by jockey Yutaka Take, Kalpa demonstrated impressive running style alongside two other horses, not inferior to older horses. Stabler Nomoto commented, "At first, he was a bit sluggish, but as the workout progressed, he showed good movement. He also has a good appetite. Although there is still more room for growth, I believe he is ready for a debut."

The team is eagerly anticipating Kalpa's debut race, with the colt showing much promise.
