Hideaki Miyuki guided Seiun Hades to his first graded stakes success in the G3 Tanabata Sho at Fukushima Racecourse on Sunday. The pair positioned themselves at the head of affairs and held off the late challenge of Kukuna by one and 1/4 lengths. Ho O Emmy's came home in third a neck behind Kukuna.

Seiun Hades is a son of Silver State out of High Knowledge, by Manhattan Cafe. He finished second in his last start in the G3 Niigata Daishoten but bounced back to win his first graded stakes title.
