The first day of the "2023 Selection Sale," organized by the Hidaka Horse Breeders Association, was held on the 25th in Shinhidaka, Hokkaido. A total of 149 horses were listed for sale, with 139 horses successfully sold. Gross sales amounted to 3,259.96 million yen (including tax), whilst the clearance rate was 93.3%.

Carino Minoru '22, by Sinister Minister, reached the session's highest price at 94 million yen, and was bought by Mr Yosuke Imafuku.
