On the 27th, trainer Yahagi provided an interview at Hakodate Racecourse regarding Panthalassa's condition. In June, Panthalassa was diagnosed with a right foreleg suspensory ligament inflammation which led to the cancellation of the British expedition and forced a prolonged absence from racing. While many horses with suspensory ligament injuries are often faced with retirement, fortunately, Panthalassa's case was considered mild.

"The progress has been very smooth. We have already started riding, gradually increasing the intensity with the aim of making a comeback in the autumn," conveyed the trainer, highlighting the horse's promising recovery.
