Arata Saito guided Dura to the winner's circle once again in the G3 Queen Stakes on Sunday. The winning time was 1:46.7. Win Pyxis finished second and Costa Bonita came home in third.

Partnering with jockey Saito, Dura, who finished 3rd in the Oaks, put in an impressive display to take her second stakes race. Settling in the middle of the field on the outside, she produced a powerful stretch in the home straight.

Saito reflected, "She has been taken care of in the yard really nicely and she was perfectly ready to run when she arrived in Hakodate. I sat on her in the parade ring thinking that she is the best horse in the field." On the future plans, the jockey added, "She finished third in the Oaks and now we won the Queen Stakes. I think we proved her ability and we have to prove it again in the fall. I am excited for the next journey with her."
