Mirai Iwata guided Riot Grrrl to a first graded stakes win, leading the field all the way from the start to the finish line to take Sunday's G3 Leopard Stakes. Omega Guiness finished second and Lux Frontier came home in third.

Riot Grrrl also gifted a first graded stakes victory to trainer Nakamura. Jockey Iwata reflected, "She is such a nice horse to ride. We almost got caught by our rivals but she gave her everything in the final furlong."
