T M Spada and Akatsuki Tomita won the G2 Centaur Stakes at the Hanshin Racecourse. The pair led the race from the start and held off the late sustained challenge made by Aguri by a length. Smart Courage came home in third and race faourite Big Caesar finished disappointing 10th.

T M Spada is the daughter of Red Spada out of Toshi the Cozzene by Admire Cozzene. This is her first graded stakes win since winning the G3 CBC Sho in a record track time.
