The JRA announced on the 2nd of October that Breakup has arrived safely in Australia for his international campaign. Breakup is scheduled to run in the G1 Caulfield Cup and the G1 Melbourne Cup during this preparation.

Assistant trainer Kosuke Hamana commented, "It was a long flight but he was calm all the way to Australia. I am glad that we arrived here safely and it looks like he will adapt to a new environment quickly. This is the first overseas campaign for both of us and we're excited for this new challenge."
