Star Chosan, half-sister of nine-time jumps G1 winner Oju Chosan, will make her debut on Sunday at Kyoto Racecourse with Yutaka Take on board. Trainer Shoichiro Wada commented, "Her breath work is coming together and she's ready to run. Everyone's eyes will be on her but she just needs to do what she needs to do. I'm looking forward to the race."

Yutaka Take who will ride her on Sunday added, "She has more room to improve but her footwork and breath work are good. She will get much better as she races more. I rode Oju (Chosan) three times in a race and her style is similar to her brother's."
