Yutaka Take was stood down from duty after sustaining an injury to his right leg. Take was kicked by a horse in the unsaddling area after the fifth race on Sunday. The incident happened just hours before he was declared to partner Do Deuce in the Tenno Sho (Autumn).

Take commented "It is a shame. I got kicked while I was unsaddling. I have been in this industry for a long time but this is my first time getting kicked like that. At first, I thought I was fine, but as time passed the pain became unbearable, and I was unable to ride in a race."
