Icon Tailor dominates the JpnI JBC Ladies Classic

Favourite of the race, Icon Tailor with Kohei Matsuyama won Saturday's JpnI Japan Breeding Farms' Cup Ladies Classic at NAR Oi Racecourse. Icon Tailor dominated the field finishing four lengths ahead of Grand Bridge in second. Ater Astraea came home in third, a half-length behind the Grand Bridge. The winning time was 1:52.9.
Icon Tailor is a daughter of Duramente out of Boil Tosho by, Came Home. Kohei Matsuyama led Icon Tailor to the winner's circle despite the sudden change of the jockey as Yutaka Take was injured on Sunday at Tokyo Racecourse. This is also the first JpnI (G1) title for trainer Hiroshi Kawachi.
