Favourite of the race, Forever Young with Ryusei Sakai on board, won the JpnI Japan Breeding Farms' Cup Nisai Yushun at Monbetsu Racecourse in Hokkaido on Saturday. Sunrise Zipangu finished second one-and-a-half lengths behind the winner. Black Butler came home in third eight lengths behind Zipangu. The winning time was 1:54.3.

Forever Young is a son of Real Steel out of Forever Darling, by Congrats. He remains unbeaten after a winning debut in Kyoto Racecourse last month.
