Yamanin Salvum won his first graded stakes title with Kosei Miura on board in the G3 Chunichi Shimbun Hai at Chukyo Racecourse. The pair held off the late challenge made by Hayayakko by 3/4 length. Pin High finished third, a neck behind the Hayayakko, and the favourite of the race Lubeck finished a disappointing ninth. The winning time was 1:58.8.

Yamanin Salvum is a son of Isla Bonita out of Yamanin Emailler, by White Muzzle. This is his second consecutive win after he took home the Listed October Stakes.
